On Saturday, the makers of Nani 31 have officially announced their film, which will see Nani reunite with Vivek Athreya after Ante Sundaraniki.
Marking a stark departure from his previous films Mental Madhilo (2017), Brochevaruevarura (2019) and Ante Sundaraniki (2022), Vivek's fourth film is reportedly set to be from the action genre.
Nani 31 will be produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under the banner DVV Entertainments. They have last backed the Academy Award winning film RRR. They are also currently producing the Pawan Kalyan starrer OG, which is directed by Sujeeth.
The announcement was made with a brief black-and-white video which saw the actor and director get ready, with rousing background music. The makers have also announced that they will be releasing an "unchained" promotional video on October 23, while the film's muhurtham pooja will take place a day later on October 24. More details about the film's cast, crew & genre are expected to be revealed on 23 or 24.
Nani was seen earlier this year in Dasara opposite Keerthy Suresh. He has Hi Nanna coming up next, which has him playing a single parent. Hi Nanna is scheduled for release on December 7.
