Dipiri Dipiri, the first single from Keedaa Cola, was unveiled on Friday. The song, composed and arranged by Vivek Sagar, is a rap song on money and freedom, with Dakhani and Telugu vocals (in the Telangana dialect).
While the Telugu lyrics have been penned by Bharadwaj Gali, the Dakhani lyrics have been written by Falafel on a waffle. Falafel on a waffle and Hanuman are the singers of Dipiri Dipiri, with additional vocals by Sai Madhav, Ritesh G Rao and Sahiti Chaganti. Keedaa Cola is written and directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam. He has previously directed Pelli Choopulu and Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi, both of which have had music composed by Vivek Sagar.
Keedaa Cola features an ensemble cast, starring Rag Mayur, Chaitanya Rao, Brahmanandam, Jeevan, Tharun Bhascker, Raghu Ram and Ravindra Vijay. The film is co-written by Pranay Koppala, Ramya Kakumanu and Shanthan Raj. The film is produced by K Vivek Sudhanshu, Saikrishna Gadwal, Srinivas Kaushik Nanduri, Sripad Nandiraj and Upendra Varma under the banner VG Sainma.
It may be noted that VG Sainma is Tharun Bhascker's home banner. While he has produced short films before, Keedaa Cola will be the banner's maiden feature. AJ Aaron is the cinematographer of the film, with editing by Upendra Varma and art direction by Ashish Teja Pulala. The film is being presented by Rana Daggubati under his home banner Suresh Productions.
