Joining the list of Leo's multiple woes across the nation, which includes a limited release across multiplexes in North India and an ongoing court case regarding the film's first show timings in Tamil Nadu, the makers of Leo were faced with another issue in Hyderabad. An injunction against the film was filed in the City Civil Court. The plaintiff, hailing from Vijayawada, alleged that they have registered the title 'Leo' before the makers of the Vijay film did. The honourable court later granted the injunction, declaring that the film's release, originally scheduled for October 19, should be put on hold till the 20th.
In the light of all that's elapsed in the court so far, Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments, who are distributing Leo in the Telugu states, has announced that the film will be releasing as originally scheduled on October 19. The producer has also revealed that the aforementioned litigation in the City Civil Court was a "miscommunication", and that they have since resolved the issue amicably with the plaintiff. Providing clarification on the timings of the film's earliest show, a question that has gained greater traction in the context of the issues the makers are facing in Tamil Nadu, Naga Vamsi has also declared that Leo's shows in Telugu will start from 7am onwards. After shedding light on these queries regarding the film's release, the producer has also announced that Trisha, Anirudh and Lokesh Kanagaraj will be arriving soon in Hyderabad to commence promotions for the film's Telugu markets.
