Drohi, an upcoming crime thriller, is all set to release on October 13. The makers made this announcement whilst unveiling the film's official trailer. Along with the release date announcement, the makers of the film have also declared that the price of the film's tickets on its opening day will be 112 rupees. The price is subsidised on October 13 on occasion of World Cinema Day.
Drohi is written and directed by Vijay Pendurty. The film stars Sandeep Kumar, Deepthi Varma, Chandu Charms, Mahesh Vitta, Majili Shiva, Niraj and Debbie. The film is jointly produced by Good Fellow Media, Wednesday Entertainments and Playwood Creations. Ashok Darbeeru is the cinematographer of the film, with editing by Jani Basha and music composed by Anant Narayanan.
Speaking about the film's release, actor Sandeep Kumar was quoted saying, "We chose the title Drohi right from the beginning. After Nagarjuna and Kamal Haasan, we are releasing a film titled Drohi. It is an extraordinary drama with elements of crime and thriller. It is a must watch film and I encourage everyone to see it on October 13, taking advantage of the special ticket offer."
