On the occasion of Deepavali, the makers of Sundeep Kishan's Ooru Peru Bhairavakona shared a special making video, which delves into the behind-the-scenes of the film.
The director of the film, VI Anand reveals in the video that Ooru Peru Bhairavakona is an action thriller with magical realism. “This movie is a mix of magical fantasy elements in the real world. Most of the story happens at night. It was tough to shoot the movie in natural lighting. Sundeep Kishan played a complicated character as Basava Lingam. This character has different layers. The movie is about the war between love and hatred," he says. We can also see other crew members explaining various aspects of the film from their respective areas of expertise.
Previously, the makers released a teaser for the film. It begins with a voiceover that narrates that four pages from the Garuda Puranam book, which existed during the era of Krishnadevaraya, have gone missing. We are then shown a fantasy world, Bhairavakona, which has an entry, but no exit. The protagonist reaches the place to find answers about this mysterious world.
Varsha Bollama and Kavya Thapar are also a part of the film's cast. With music by Shekar Chandra, Ooru Peru Bhairavakona has cinematography by Raj Thota and editing by Chota K Prasad. The film's dialogues have been penned by Bhanu Bhogavarapu and Nandu Savirigana.
Razesh Danda of Hasya Movies will produce the film while, Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainment will present it. Balaji Gutta is the co-producer of Ooru Peru Bhairavakona. The makers are yet to reveal the release date of the film.
