The first promo of BoyapatiRAPO, titled ‘First Thunder’, was released by the makers on Monday, on the occasion of actor Ram Pothineni's birthday. The film, starring Ram Pothineni and Sree Leela in the lead roles, is set for a Dusshera release on October 20 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.
The promo starts by showing a heroic Ram Pothineni wielding a sword. We then see him thrash a few goondas while also holding on to a majestic bull. We also get a sneak peek of Sree Leela in the promo.
BoyapatiRAPO, billed to be a mass action entertainer, is written and directed by Boyapati Sreenivas, who is known for successfully helming films in this genre. The film also stars actor Prince Cecil in a crucial supporting role.
BoyapatiRAPO is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner Srinivasaa Silver Screen. The banner has also produced the recent releases Ugram, starring Allari Naresh and Naga Chaitanya’s Tamil-Telugu bilingual Custody. SS Thaman is the music director of the film, with cinematography by Santosh Detake and editing by Tammiraju.
