Earlier, we had reported that Na Rojaa Nuvve, the first single from Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda's Kushi, would be released on May 9 in five languages. Now ahead of the song's reveal, the makers released a promo video on Sunday.
In the promotional video, Vijay Deverakonda is standing with his arms outstretched against a snowy mountain backdrop while Samantha performs namaz in a meadow wearing a black Abhaya and a scarf. Vijay also mimics her prayer position.
Composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, the song is titled Tu Meri Roja in Hindi, En Rojaa Neeye in Tamil and Malayalam, and Nanna Roja Neene in Kannada. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, Kushi is directed by Shiva Nirvana, who last helmed Tuck Jagadish. Kushi marks the second time Samantha and Vijay are collaborating after they first worked together in Mahanati, with Keerthy Suresh in the lead.
Kushi also stars P Murali Sharma, Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Saranya Pradeep, Vennela Kishore, and others. Kushi will hit theatres on September 1, 2023.
