VD12, Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film was launched on Wednesday with a pooja ceremony. The film is written and directed by Jersey-fame director Goutham Tinnanuri. Starring Sree Leela as the female, VD12 marks the first collaboration between her and Vijay Deverakonda.
Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas will be producing VD12. Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in, to compose music for this film. It may be noted that Goutham has previously collaborated with Anirudh and Sithara Entertainments for Jersey, which starred Nani and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles.
Girish Gangadharan is the cinematographer of VD12, with editing by Navin Nooli.
Goutham Tinnanuri made his directorial debut in 2017 with Malli Rava, starring Sumanth and Akanksha Singh in the lead roles. Two years later, he directed Jersey. Jersey, in addition to being successful at the box office, also earned widespread critical acclaim. Goutham and Navin Nooli, the editor of Jersey, have both received National Awards for their work in the film. Goutham remade Jersey in Hindi with Shahid Kapoor, which was co-produced by Sithara Entertainments.
Vijay Deverakonda is currently shooting for Kushi, which will be up for release on September 1.
