Priyadarshi's Balagam available for streaming on Prime Video 

Balagam, the recently released Telugu film starring Priyadarshi in the lead role, is set to premiere on Prime Video on March 24, the streaming platform announced.

Balagam is the debut directorial of Venu Yeldandi, who is a comic actor in the Telugu film industry and has starred in the ETV show Jabardasth.

The film is about Saailu, a youngster who is in a lot of debt and decides to get married to clear the debts with the dowry. However, his plans go haywire due to the untimely death of his grandfather Komurayya three days before his engagement.

“One of the fascinating aspects of the film is that almost everyone here is grey, but it doesn’t manipulate you to hate or empathise with any particular character. In fact, it only rightly calls them out for their mistakes and misplaced priorities,’ reads CE review of the film.

Balagam is presented by Shirish of Sri Venkateswara Creations, and produced by Harshith and Hanshita Reddy, under the banner, Dil Raju Productions. The film's technical team comprises of Acharya Venu and Madhu, handling cinematography and editing, respectively. The film's music has been composed by Dhamaka-fame music director Bheems Ceciroleo.
