Nithin and Rashmika Mandanna's next with director Venky Kudumula launched

Director Venky Kudumula and actors Nithin and Rashmika Mandanna, who have earlier worked together in Bheeshma, are reuniting on another film, that is tentatively titled VNR Trio. They earlier released a promotional video announcing the project.

The film was launched on Friday morning with a muhurtham pooja that had the film's key cast and crew in attendance, along with Chiranjeevi, who graced the event as the chief guest. Directors Hanu Raghavapudi, Gopichand Malineni, Bobby Kolli and Buchi Babu Sana were also in attendance. Chiranjeevi did the first ceremonial clap while Gopichand directed the film’s first shot. Buchi Babu and Hanu, meanwhile, handed over the script to the film’s makers to symbolically signal its commencement. 

VNR Trio is written and directed by Venky Kudumula, who has earlier helmed Bheeshma (2020) and Chalo (2018). Rashmika, who has made her Telugu debut with Chalo, will be reuniting to work with Venky for the third time in a row. VNR Trio is produced by Mythri Movie makers, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
