Team Shaakuntalam present Madhoo as Apsara Menaka

It is raining updates from Team Shaakuntalam. The Samantha-starrer, directed by Gunasekhar, is gearing up for an April 14 release, and ahead of the big day, the makers are sharing the first looks of its principal cast.

After releasing the looks of veteran actor Mohan Babu as Sage Durvasa, now, we have the first look of Madhoo, who plays Menaka, the birth mother of Shakuntala. Dressed in pristine white, and basking in the glow of ethereal elegance, Madhoo is all kinds of beautiful in the poster.

Shaakuntalam, which marks Dev Mohan's Telugu debut, is backed by Neelima Guna. With music by Mani Sharma, the technical cast of Shaakuntalam includes cinematographer Shekar V Joseph and editor Prawin Pudi. 

Shaakuntalam will release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi on April 14.
