The first look of actor Sudheer Babu from his upcoming film, Maama Mascheendra was released by the makers on Wednesday. The poster introduces Sudheer playing the role of Durga, an obese man. The actor will be playing three roles in the film, and only one look has been released so far. Sudheer’s other looks from Maama Mascheendra, namely, Parusuram and DJ, will be out on March 4 and March 7.
Maama Mascheendra marks the directorial debut of character actor Harsha Vardhan. Harsha is popularly known for his role as Amrutha Rao in the sitcom, Amrutham. He has done quite a few comic and negative roles so far. In 2022, he was seen in Ante Sundaraniki, HIT 2, and Swathi Muthyam. Harsha Vardhan is also a screenwriter. He has previously written dialogues for Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde (2013), Manam (2014), and Guru (2017), among other films.
Maama Mascheendra is produced by Suneil Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banner of Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP. The film is also backed by Sonali Narang and Srishti of Srishti Celluloid. Chaitan Bharadwaj is the music composer of the film, with PG Vinda as the cinematographer and Marthand K Venkatesh as the editor.
