Amidst the announcements surrounding Gandheevadhari Arjuna and VT 13, a Telugu-Hindi bilingual set against the Indian Air Force backdrop, the announcement regarding VT 14, Varun Tej's upcoming film was also made. The film, which will star Meenakshi Chaudhary as its heroine, will also feature Iranian-origin Bollywood actor and dancer Nora Fatehi in an important role. Nora has previously appeared in films like Baahubali: The Beginning, Kick 2 and Oopiri. She will also be dancing in a special number in the film, in addition to featuring in the talkie portions.
VT 14, a high-budget action entertainer set in 60s Vishakapatnam, will be directed by Karuna Kumar. He had previously directed Palasa 1978. VT 14 is produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala under the banner Vyra Entertainments. VT 14 will be launched on Thursday. The makers plan to announce the rest of the cast and crew on the same date.
Varun Tej, who has recently gotten engaged to his longtime girlfriend Lavanya Tripathi will be seen next in Praveen Sattaru's Gandheevadhari Arjuna, which will be released on August 25. Meenakshi Chaudhary, who has previously featured in HIT 2 and Khiladi, has recently confirmed her inclusion in the Mahesh Babu-starrer Guntur Kaaram.
