The official trailer of Bro, an upcoming fantasy drama film starring Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej, has been unveiled by the film's makers on Saturday evening. Bro, scheduled for a July 28 release, is directed by actor-filmmaker Samuthirakani.
Bro is the official Telugu adaptation of Vinodaya Sitham, which was also directed by Samuthirakani. Vinodaya Sitham, which released directly on the ZEE 5 platform in 2021, is itself a film adaptation of a Tamil play. Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej will be reprising the roles played by Samuthirakani and Thambi Ramaiah in the original. While Thambi Ramaiah plays a character on the verge of retirement in Vinodaya Sitham, Sai Dharam Tej will be playing a much younger character. Trivikram penned the adapted screenplay of the film.
The trailer, clocking in at two minutes fifteen seconds, shows the life of Markandeya alias Mark, a corporate professional who keeps ignoring people close to him by telling them that he has got no time for them. Things change when Pawan Kalyan, playing the personification of time enters the picture. The actor is seen through the trailer in both funny and heroic moments. We also see Rohini Molleti play the role of Mark's mother, while Priya Prakash Warrier and Ketika Sharma essay the roles of Mark's sister and girlfriend respectively. Brahmanandam is also seen in the trailer, playing the role of a pujari.
Bro is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla under the People Media Factory banner. Zee Studio is presenting the film. S Thaman is the music composer of Bro, with cinematography by Sujith Vassudev, editing by Navin Nooli and production design by AS Prakash.
