The makers of Baby have recently announced an appreciation meet of their film. The promotional event had a bunch of actors and media personalities share their positive opinions on Baby. Gracing this event as a guest of honour is Allu Arjun, who praised the makers of the film effusively.
Speaking at the event, Allu Arjun says, "There's only few films which shows the pain in love. While I was growing up it was Kaadhal Kondein, 7/G Brundavan Colony, recently Arjun Reddy and now it's Baby. Sai Rajesh garu, you've made cinema. For me, Sukumar and Maruthi, this is our kind of cinema. I've listened his journey yesterday for 1 hour and I am today here to talk about Baby team journey. The way the movie was written, the way it was made, the performances of the artists, everything was impressive. I was shocked by their performance. There is a lot of genuineness in their acting."
Baby starred Vaishnavi Chaitanya as its female lead. Vaishnavi's casting was appreciated by certain sections of the audience, who appreciated the film's team for casting a Telugu girl, as opposed to North Indian or Malayali or Tamil actresses. Echoing that sentiment in the later parts of his speech, Allu Arjun continues, "When I attend award ceremonies, I see a lot of female actors receiving awards from Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada. I request Telugu people to encourage their talented daughters. The entertainment industry is a growing industry, and Telugu cinema is the best of its times."
Baby is written and directed by Sai Rajesh. The film is produced by SKN under the banner Mass Movie Makers. Vijai Bulganin is the music composer of the film, with cinematography by MN Bal Reddy and editing by Viplav Nyshadam.
