On Monday, the makers of BoyapatiRAPO released the title glimpse of the film. announcing that it is titled Skanda- The Attacker. Helmed by Boyapati Sreenivas, the title glimpse video starts by showing the idol of Lord Ram and then goes on to show Ram Pothineni standing inside a temple's lake. He says, "Your entry is futile, but my entry is devastating," as he fights off goons.
The shooting of the film was recently wrapped with a penultimate schedule in Mysore. Skanda is scheduled to hit theatres on September 15 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. Sreeleela is the female lead of the film. It was originally supposed to release on October 20. Skanda also stars Prince Cecil in an important negative role.
The film is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner Srinivasaa Silver Screens, while it is presented by Pawan Kumar and Zee Studios South. Santosh Detake is the cinematographer of the film, and it has editing by Tammiraju. Thaman is the music director of Skanda.
