Team Dasara comes up with unique way to celebrate Nani's birthday 

The makers of Dasara, the upcoming film starring Nani, decided to set up 39 release date countdown installations across 39 different locations, to celebrate the actor’s 39^th birthday falling on Friday.

These installations will present a countdown to March 30, the release date of Dasara. The makers claim this unique marketing strategy to be the first of its kind in the history of Indian cinema.

Dasara, also starring Keerthy Suresh, Sai Kumar and Shine Tom Chacko in principal roles, is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara creations. The film is a gritty action drama set in the Singareni coal mines of the 90s. 

Dasara is written and directed by Srikanth Odela, with music composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The film's key technical team comprises of Sanu John Varghese, as the cinematographer, along with Naveen Nooli and Avinash Kolla providing editing and production design respectively.

On occasion of Nani's birthday, Ala Modalaindi (2011), one of his older, beloved films is also re-releasing in theatres.
