The release date of Vishwak Sen's directorial and starrer, Das Ka Dhamki, has been postponed. Taking to social media, the director cited pending CG work as the reason behind the postponement of the film's theatrical release. The film was originally slated for release on February 17. The new release date will be announced soon by the makers of the film.
Das Ki Dhamki is Vishwak Sen's second directorial. He first helmed Falaknuma Das (2019), which was the official Telugu remake of Lijo Jose Pellisery's critically acclaimed film Angamaly Diaries (2017). Vishwak also acted in his first directorial as the male lead.
Das Ki Dhamki also stars Nivetha Pethuraj, Rao Ramesh, Tharun Bhascker and Akshara Gowda. The film is produced by Vishwak Sen's father Karate Raju, under their home banner Vishwaksen Cinemas. Leon James composed the music for the film while Dinesh K Babu provided the cinematography. The film was written by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada, and Anwar Ali edited it.
