As Kushi is nearing its release, Vijay Deverakonda recently interacted with his fans in a live Q&A session. More than 8,000 people took part in this event. Unlike the AMAs on Twitter, Vijay could be seen in a video answering questions. Samantha also joined him via a video call. Here are some highlights from the interaction.
Speaking about his enthusiasm towards Kushi and how that made him be a part of the film, Vijay says, "Kushi is something that I've loved so much as script, while making and while promoting. I think the audience will love it and come out of the theatre with big smiles."
Responding to a fan's enquiry on his favourite film, Vijay cited Pokiri, saying, "When I watched Mahesh Entry in Pokiri. I felt This is heroism. I want to be an actor. I want to do such Chillies shot as a tribute to Pokiri Scene."
The music of Kushi has been one of the film's major highlights. Speaking about music director Hesham's involvement in the same, Vijay is quoted saying, "Everyone celebrated Hesham's music and now the team is raving about the background score, especially in the climax. I'm waiting to experience it on September 1st."
Kushi is Vijay's first film with director Shiva Nirvana. Responding to a query on his experience working with Shiva and what he liked the most about him, Vijay said, "Shiva Nirvana loves cinema so much. He only thinks about the movie and how it improves. When someone suggests a change, he considers how that change will improve the scene; if it's positive, he'll make the change."
Midway through the interaction, Samantha joined the stream from a video call. She is currently in America. They gushed about the film. When Vijay asked Samantha about her favourite song from the film, she mentioned it was 'Aaradhya'.
Summing up his expectations for Kushi in one word, Vijay says, "At the end of the film people will discuss the film and it will be entertaining throughout."
