Manasa Varanasi to join Ashok Galla's next

We had reported earlier about Ashok Galla signing his second film. The makers of the film have now announced that Manasa Varanasi will now be joining the film as its female lead. Manasa, an engineer by training, who won a handful of paegents, including the coveted Miss India title in 2020, is making her debut with this yet-to-be-titled film. Manasa will be playing a character named Satyabhama.

The film, tentatively titled #ProductionNo2, will be written and directed by Arjun Jandhyala, who last directed Guna 369 (2019).  Prasanth Varma, director of Awe! (2018), Zombie Reddy (2021) and the upcoming mythological actioner Hanu Man have penned the story of the film, with veteran writer Sai Madhav Burra writing the dialogues. Bheems Ceciroleo is the music composer of the film. The film is the maiden project of Somineni Balakrishna, who will be producing it under his banner Lalithambika Productions. 

Ashok Galla, who is Mahesh Babu's nephew, made his debut in early 2022 with the Sriram Aditya film Hero. Hero also starred Nidhi Aggerwal, Jagapathi Babu, Naresh and Sathya.
