Bedrulanka 2012 trailer out

The makers of Bedrulanka 2012, an upcoming comedy-social drama film have unveiled their trailer on Wednesday. Though they have previously announced that they will launching their trailer on August 15, it had only come out a day later. Ram Charan launched the trailer. The film, not entirely unlike the 2021 release Skylab, revolves around how a group of villagers deal with the rumours of an imminent apolocalypse, which made it rounds in 2012.

Bedrulanka 2012 is set in the eponymous hamlet in the Godavari district. The trailer, among other things, highlights the rebellious nature of the protagonist, played by Kartikeya, along with the love story between him and Neha Shetty's character. Surrounding them are a motley group of villagers headed by Ajay Ghosh, Goparaju Ramana, Rajkumar Kasireddy and Srikanth Iyyengar. The trailer also shows how two presumably religious leaders going by the names of Brahman and Daniel play a role in spreading mass panic for their own personal benefit. Bedrulanka 2012 is directed by debut filmmaker Clax.

The film is produced by Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni under the banner Loukya Entertainments. Mani Sharma is the music director of the film, with cinematography by Sai Prakash Ummasidugu and Sunny Kurapati, editing by Viplav Nyshadam and production design by Sudheer Macharla.
