The makers of Guntur Kaaram released a new poster of its lead actor Mahesh Babu on the occasion of his birthday on Wednesday. The actor, born in 1975, turns 48 this year. In the new poster, much like the old one, the actor is seen smoking a beedi. Mahesh Babu is seen sporting a lungi and check shirt with sunglasses while seated on the verandah of a house in the birthday special poster.
Guntur Kaaram is written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film marks Mahesh Babu's third collaboration with Trivikram, after Athadu and Khaleja. While Pooja Hegde was earlier supposed to play the primary female lead of the project, she had exited the same recently citing scheduling issues. Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary are featuring in Guntur Kaaram's primary cast. Ramya Krishnan is also playing an important role in the film. Thaman is the music director of Guntur Kaaram, with cinematography by PS Vinod, editing by Navin Nooli and production design by AS Prakash.
Guntur Kaaram is scheduled to hit screens on January 12, 2024.
Meanwhile, Businessman (2012), one of Mahesh Babu's cult favorite films, is also re-releasing in theaters on the occasion of his birthday. There might also be a much-awaited SSMB 29 announcement unveiled this Wednesday as well. SSMB 29, directed by SS Rajamouli, is expected to be a globe-trotting adventure on the lines of Indiana Jones.
