Rama Banam, the upcoming Telugu film starring actor Gopichand in the lead role, has been censored with a U/A certificate.

The film is set to hit the theatres on May 5. The makers also shared a note on how usually the makers are apprehensive before their film goes to the Censor formalities. However, the makers of Rama Banam revealed how the Board praised the film for its clean content, but went for a U/A due to some action sequences.

Rama Banam also stars Dimple Hayathi, Jagapathi Babu, Khushbu, Sachin Khedekar, Nasser, Ali, Raju Ravindra, Vennela Kishore, Sapthagiri, Kashi Vishwanath, Satya, Getup Srinu, Sameer and Tarun Arora.

Rama Banam marks the third collaboration of director Sriwass' with Gopichand. The actor-director duo has earlier worked together in Lakshyam (2007) and Loukyam (2014). The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla under the banner People Media Factory.

It is written by Bhupathi Raja, with dialogues by Padamati Madhusudan. Mickey J Meyer is the music composer of Rama Banam, with cinematography by Vetri Palaniswamy, editing by Prawin Pudi and production design by Kiran Kumar Manne.
