On Tuesday, actor Vijay Deverakonda took to Twitter to share the trailer of Music School, an upcoming Hindi and Telugu film starring Shriya Saran and Sharman Joshi in lead roles.
The trailer of Music School starts by showing how parents, society and teachers pressurise students academically. Shriya Saran is introduced as a music teacher, who decides to train the students for a musical along with Sharman Joshi's character. The trailer then shows the conflicts they endure in the process.
Directed by Papa Rao Biyyala the cast of Music School also includes Prakash Raj, Ozu Barua, Gracy Goswamy, Benjamin Gilani, Suhasini Mulay, Mona Ambeognkar, Leela Samson, Bugs Bhargava, Vinay Varma, Sreekanth Iyengar, Vaquar Sheikh and Phani. The film has cinematography by Kiran Deohans and music by Ilaiyaraaja.
It may be noted that the rights to three songs from the iconic American musical drama The Sound of Music have been acquired by the makers of the upcoming Indian film Music School. The makers have obtained the rights of Do Re Mi, So Long Farewell and Sixteen Going on Seventeen. Backed by Yamini Films and shot in Hindi and Telugu, Music School will release on May 12.
