SS Rajamouli, whose career has catapulted to global heights after the worldwide reception of the Academy Award-winning film RRR is now a member of the TIME 100. TIME 100 is an annual list of the 100 most influential and important people, selected by the editorial team of TIME magazine from the worlds of art, science, business and politics respectively.
The dignitaries from this list are categorised as Artists, Innovators, Leaders, Pioneers, Icons and Titans respectively. SS Rajamouli joins Ali Wong, Zoe Saldana, Pedro Pascal, Salma Hayek, Aubrey Plaza and Michael B Jordan in the list of entertainment personalities featured on the TIME 100. Shah Rukh Khan joins SS Rajamouli in the list of celebrities from India.
In the 150-word long note on SS Rajamouli penned by his RRR actress Alia Bhatt for TIME, she wrote, “He knows the audience he’s serving. He knows what beats to hit, and what turns to take. I call him the master storyteller because he genuinely loves the flair and abandon of stories. And he brings us together. India is a massive country with diverse demographics, tastes, and cultures.
