Actor Ravi Teja has begun shooting for his upcoming action thriller Ravanasura.

The Krack actor shared a picture alongside the film's cast and crew from the location and wrote, "First day!! #RAVANASURA...Supperr excited (sic)."

Incidentally, the actor was supposed to join the sets in January, but the delay in completion of his next film, Ramarao on Duty has prompted a change in plans.

Directed by Sudheer Varma, Ravanasura showcases Ravi Teja as a lawyer and his role has ten different shades on the lines of the antagonist of the Hindu epic Ramayana.

Produced by Abhishek Nama, the film also features Sushanth Anumolu, Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Daksha Nagarkar, Poojitha Ponnada, and Faria Abdullah in prominent roles.

The story of Ravanasura has been written by Srikanth Vissa, while Harshavardhan Rameswar and Bheems Ceciroleo are providing the music.

Apart from this film, Ravi Teja will also be seen in Dhamaka, Tiger Nageswara Rao and Waltair Veerayya. His other film, Khiladi is slated for release on February 11.
