Masooda gets a release date

Actor Thiruveer, who rose to fame with films such as Ghazi, Mallesham, George Reddy and Palasa, will next be seen in a horror thriller Masooda. Directed by Sai Kiran, the film marks the debut of Kavya Kalyanram, the co-star of Allu Arjun in Gangotri, as the female lead. The makers, on Friday, announced that the film will have a pan-India release on November 11.

"Masooda is a spooky horror drama that has got all the ingredients to thrill the audience to bits. Besides Telugu, we are also planning to release the film in Tamil and Hindi," said Rahul Yadav Nakka, the film's producer.

The film also features an ensemble cast, including Subhalekha Sudhakar, Akhila Ram, Bandhavi Sridhar, Satyam Rajesh, Satya Prakash, Surya Rao, Surabhi Prabhavathi and Krishna Teja in prominent roles.

Masooda will have a background score and soundtracks composed by Prashanth R Vihari. Nagesh Banel is on board as the cinematographer, while editing is being handled by Jesvin Prabu.
