SS Rajamouli meets video game creator Hideo Kojima

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who is currently touring Japan to promote his recent blockbuster RRR, has met video game creator Hideo Kojima. Following the phenomenal reception of the film in the United States, the makers of RRR have decided to release it in Japan. The film is currently scheduled to release on 21 October in Japan.

Hideo Kojima shared pictures of SS Rajamouli inside Kojima Productions on Twitter, the director could be seen sitting inside a full-body scanner. The scanners could help create detailed CG 3d images of a person. The scans could mean that Kojima is potentially thinking of including the director’s likeness in his upcoming games. Hideo Kojima is a video game designer, producer, and writer, known for some of the most popular video games like the Metal Gear series and the recently released Death Stranding game.

Upon the film's release, Hideo Kojima praised the film on Twitter, calling it a must-watch. The caption for the tweet reads, “The latest from director S. S. Rajamauli's "Baahubali"!!! Must watch this one, even if it's long.”

The lead stars of the film, Ram Charan and Jr NTR, are also in Japan for the promotional tour. The actors recently unveiled the Japanese poster for the film at a promotional event in Tokyo.
