Anjali's series Jhansi to premiere on this date

Jhansi, the upcoming series starring Anjali in the lead role, is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on October 20, the makers announced on Wednesday.

The new series is helmed by director Thiru, marking his OTT debut. Jhansi will be produced by actor Krishna under the banner Tribal House Entertainment banner.

An action revenge drama, Jhansi will run for 10 episodes, with each one being 40 minutes each. Jhansi is made in Telugu and will be dubbed in seven regional languages including Tamil. Shot by cinematographer Arvind across Hyderabad, Munnar and Goa, the series will also feature Mumaith Khan, Kalyan Master, Raj Arjun, Sharanya R and Samyuktha.  

Meanwhile, Anjali who was last seen in a song sequence of Macherla Niyojakavargam, is also part of RC15, the upcoming Ram Charan-Shankar film.
