National award-winning director Vegesna Satish is set to foray into the digital space with a web series titled Kathalu (Meevi Maavi).
Set in a rustic backdrop, the stories are set in a small town and will have the flavour Satish is popularly known for.
"The show revolves around the relationships and the emotions of a close-knit family. We have completed filming three stories and are planning to wrap up the balance portions by summer. It's going to be a clean and entertaining show that can be enjoyed by all sections of the audience," says Vegesna Satish.
The cast, crew and other details of the show are yet to be announced.
Besides Kathalu, Vegesna Satish is also working in Kothi Kommachi and Sri Sri Sri Raja Vaaru. While the former introduces his son Sameer as the lead actor, the latter marks the debut of Jr NTR's brother-in-law Narne Nithiin.
