RRR makers to back Pawan Kalyan's next with Sujeeth

We had earlier reported that Saaho director Sujeeth was set to helm Pawan Kalyan's next. It was also speculated that the film will be backed by RRR makers DVV Entertainment. 

Now, the makers took to social media to officially announce the project, and shared an image from the film. Featuring Pawan overlooking a city against the bright sun, the poster adds fuel to the speculations that the project has the Power Star playing a gangster. The caption reads, "They call him #OG"

This is the first time Sujeeth and Pawan Kalyan are uniting for a film and is incidentally, just the second DVV Entertainments are backing a project fronted by the actor after Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu.  

The makers are reportedly planning to wrap up the film by March and release the film this summer. 

"Pawan Kalyan liked the storyline and his characterisation and gave his nod almost instantly to Sujeeth in the first sitting itself. He will be sporting a bearded look with a new hairdo for the part," says a source.

While details about the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be revealed, the makers announced that cinematographer Ravi K Chandran is part of the project. The ace cinematographer is working with Pawan once again after Bheemla Nayak.

Besides this film, Pawan Kalyan also has Hari Hara Veera Mallu, and the Telugu remake of Vinodaya Sitham, along with Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh, and an untitled film with Surender Reddy in the pipeline.
