The makers of Acharya released a new teaser featuring Ram Charan’s character Siddha. Titled Siddha’s Saga, the video begins by introducing him as a do-gooder who is ready to fight his land and people. There are shots of him having a brief romantic moment with Pooja Hegde, before he takes the action avatar. Towards the end, the two leads, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan are seen together.

Acharya is the first film in which the father-son duo play full-fledged roles together. Directed by Kortala Siva, the film is billed as a socio-political entertainer. It is said to be a contemporary take over misappropriation and embezzlement of temple funds and donations by the Endowments Department.

While Chiranjeevi plays the role of a carpenter-turned-social reformer, Charan plays the role of a Naxalite. The film has Kajal Aggarwal reuniting with the former for the second time after Khaidi No.150.

Acharya produced by Niranjan Reddy of Matinee Entertainments and Konidela Production Company is slated to hit screens on February 4, 2022.
