Samantha wraps up first schedule of Yashoda

The film is directed by debutants Hari and Harish

Actor Samantha has wrapped up the first schedule of her upcoming bilingual film Yashoda

Directed by debutants Hari and Harish, the new-age thriller also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Unni Mukundan in prominent roles.

The film is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad’s production under the Sridevi Movies banner.

Speaking about the news, producer Sivalenka said, "We're making this Telugu-Tamil film uncompromisingly. Aiming to release in Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi simultaneously. The first schedule commenced on 6th December. Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada, Priyanka Sharma played pivotal scenes in this schedule. Rao Ramesh and Murali Sharma are also playing major roles. The second schedule will commence on January 3rd and will be wrapped up on January 12th, the last schedule will be shot from January 20th to March 31st. Despite being the debutants, the directors are making the film super confidently with cinematographer Sukumar's brilliant work. We're making it in an uncompromised budget to give a technical and visual grandeur"

Yashoda has music by Mani Sharma and editing by Marthand K Venkatesh.

Samantha, who was recently seen in the Oo Solriya song from the Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa, will be soon seen in the Tamil period rom-com Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
