Release date of Raghava Lawrence's Rudhran announced

Actor-director Raghava Lawrence's next film as the lead, Rudhran, will be releasing in theatres on April 14, 2022. The Kanchana-actor took to Twitter to announce the release date while sharing the film's poster, which features the actor's silhouette with a smoky background with a red tinge. 

Directed by S Kathiresan, who is also producing the film, Rudhran stars Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead. Interestingly, pan-Indian actioner, KGF 2, is also currently slated to release on the same date.

The film, which features music by GV Prakash Kumar, has cinematography by RD Rajasekar and editing by Anthony, while KP Thirumaaran has penned the story. Ace action choreographer Stunt Silva will be composing the fight sequences. Further details related to the project, including the primary cast, are yet to be revealed. The film is being bankrolled by Five Star Creations LLP.

Meanwhile, Raghava Lawrence has multiple projects in his pipeline including Adhigaaram that's written by Vetri Maaran and directed by Durai Senthil Kumar, Durga, and Chandramukhi 2.
