
The maker's of Vemal's Pogumidam Vegu Thooramillai unveiled the second single from the film. Titled 'Bullattu Vandiyila', the song is sung by Mathichiyam Bala, Mahalingam, Guru Ayyadurai, Latha and Shivani with lyrics written by Ekadasi. The song unfolds at a funeral home where several theatre artists sing and dance for the departed soul.
Earlier, the first single 'Yendi Yenna' was released. the romantic melody has vocals by Stephen Zechariah and Malvi Sundaresan and lyrics by Micheal K Raja, the film's director.
Directed by debutant Micheal K Raja, the film also stars Karunaas in a crucial role. The trailer, which was released a few weeks ago, showed Vemal as a hearse van driver who gives Karunaas' character a ride on the way to his destination where he is to deliver a dead body. Karunaas is a Koothu artist who seemed to be telling a story to Vemal through their ride.
Apart from Vemal and Karunaas, the film also stars Aadukalam Naren, Deepa Shankar and Pavan in prominent roles.
Speaking to CE about the film, director Michael had said, "Pogumidam Vegu Thooramillai will be high on emotions and there would be situational comedies that are written in a way not to disrupt the overall tone of the film."
Backed by Siva Killari of Shark 9 Pictures, Pogumidam Vegu Thooramillai's technical crew also comprises of music director NR Raghunandan, cinematographer Demel Xavier Edwards, editor M Thiyagarajan, and stunt choreographer Metro Mahesh. A release date for the film is yet to be announced.
