On Friday, on the occasion of Sarath Kumar's birthday, the makers of Paramporul released the film's teaser. Also starring Amitash in the lead, the film has Kashmira Pardesi as the female lead.
The teaser takes us into a world of antique idol theft. It suggests that Sarath Kumar plays a cop, who has embarked upon an investigation into the case of idol smuggling. Just like Sarath Kumar's recent outing, Por Thozhil, the teaser of Paramporul features the actor in a similar avatar.
Directed by Aravind Raj, the film also stars director Balaji Sakthivel in an important role. With Yuvan Shankar Raja composing music, the film will have cinematography by S Pandikumar. Interestingly, Yuvan made his debut as a composer in the Sarath-starrer Aravindhan 25 years ago in 1997.
