The film is directed by Siva

Published: 09th September 2022

We had recently reported that actor Suriya and filmmaker Siva will be teaming up for a project, tentatively titled Suriya 42. The shooting of the film began last month.

The makers have now unveiled a motion poster.  Although no official casting announcement has been made yet, the makers tagged the social media profiles of Disha Patani and Yogi Babu while sharing the motion poster, confirming their presence in the film. As speculated earlier, the motion poster confirms that Suriya 42 is a period actioner.

The 90-second video played to Devi Sri Prasad's rousing score, features an eagle flying over a battleground before finally resting on the shoulders of the warrior protagonist, who stands on a cliff.

The motion poster reveals that the film will release in 3D across 10 languages.

The film will have cinematography by Siva's frequent collaborator, Vetri Palanisamy, production design by Milan and editing by Nishad Yusuf. Supreme Sundar will be choreographing the action sequences while Narayana has co-written the script. The dialogues are by Madan Karky.

Suriya 42 is a co-production between UV Creations and Studio Green.
