Teaser of Kajal Aggarwal's horror comedy Ghosty out 

The film will release in theatres soon

The teaser of Ghosty, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Kajal Aggarwal in the lead role, was released by the makers on social media on Monday.

The film's teaser introduces us to Yogi Babu who narrates a chain of events that reveal the story, to a child. Yogi Babu narates the tale of two women, an actor and policewoman (played by Kajal Aggarwal). While there is a "villain" (KS Ravikumar) introduced amid the two women, a mistake committed by the actor, gets the cop caught by a ghost. As the cop gets cursed wherein whoever speaks to her, gets a child-like voice, Ghosty promises a star-studded horror comedy. At the end, Yogi Babu assures that the film will have a theatrical release before it streams on a platform.

In addition to Kajal and Yogi Babu, the film also stars KS Ravikumar, Redin Kingsley, Thangadurai, Adukalam Naren, Manobala, Rajendran, Mayilsamy, among others. The film is written and directed by Kalyaan. The technical crew of the film features Jacob Rathinaraj as the cinematographer, with Sam CS composing the music. The film is edited by Vijay Velukutty.

The release date of Ghosty is yet to be revealed by the makers.

Meanwhile, besides Ghosty, Kajal is also part of Indian 2, where she co-stars along with Kamal Haasan in Shankar’s directorial. The actor, who was last seen in Hey Sinamika, also has Karungaapiyam in the pipeline.
