The trailer of Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil was released on Sunday, May 15.  It is 2 minutes and 38 seconds long, with a lot of action, brilliant shots of its lead actors and a tease of what is to come soon to the big screens.

Within a few minutes of its release, the trailer captured close to 80,000 views indicating the level of anticipation among fans for this film. Narain, Chemban Vinod Jose, and Gayathrie will also play pivotal roles in the film, the trailer indicates. Vikram's trailer has kept the mystery intact by not revealing too much.

In a scene, Fahadh asks a man in front of him — "What is the difference between you and terrorists?" In the next scene, Narain's character responds, "One man's revolution is another man's terrorism." What is clear is that it is based on a revolution, or terrorism depending on your perspective.

Vikram is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and brings stars Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi together for the first time. There has been no information revealed regarding the female lead role in the film other than Gayathrie. Vikram is slated to release on June 3. The music for this film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and a grand event was held in Chennai to launch the trailer and the music.
