Udhayanidhi Stalin's Nenjuku Needhi teaser out 

The teaser of Udhayanidhi Stalin's social drama Nenjuku Needhi, the official remake of Article 15, was launched earlier today. The film directed by Arunraja Kamaraj also stars Aari, Tanya Ravichandran, Shivani Rajashekar and Yamini Chander in important roles.

The teaser starts with the news of an Adi Dravidar girl's murder and it follows the journey of Udhayanidhi, the officer investigating the case. While the previous films against caste oppression or honour killing had stuck to the term Dalit, Nenjuku Needhi raises the bar by naming the community of the victim.

The film also stars Suresh Chakravarthi, Ilavarasan, Mayilsamy, Abdool Lee and Ratsasan Saravanan. 

The shooting of the film was wrapped last December. It has cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan B, and editing by Ruben.

Produced by Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects in association with Romeo Pictures, Nenjukku Needhi has music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, who also worked in Arunraja's debut film, Kanaa. 

Article 15, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and directed by Anubhav Sinha, was released in 2019 to critical acclaim.
