GV Prakash and Gautham Menon-starrer 13 teaser out 

The teaser of GV Prakash's next film 13, was released by the makers on social media. Billed to be an investigative crime thriller, the film is helmed by debutant filmmaker K Vivek.

The teaser introduces us to a happy-go-lucky youngster played by GV Prakash, as the tone of the film moves to a thriller space. As 13 sports several chilling moments, the upcoming film navigates within a murder investigation space. While GV Prakash plays a YouTuber, Gautham Menon essays the role of an investigating officer.

Interestingly, 13 marks the second collaboration of GVM and GV Prakash after Selfie. The film also stars Bhavya Trikha, Aadhya Prasad, Aishwarya and Adithya Kathir. Reportedly, the film completed shooting this year and was shot in Chennai and Talakona Falls.

The film is backed by S Nandagopal of Madras Studios in association with Anshu Prabhakar Films. While Siddhu Kumar scores music for 13, CM Moovendhar handles the cinematography, and JF Castro is the editor.

Meanwhile, on the acting front, GV Prakash, who was last seen in Ayngaran, has a slew of projects in the pipeline, including Trap City and Idimuzhakkam. On the other hand, Gautham Menon was last seen in the multilingual film Sita Ramam, has another pan-Indian film Michael, alongside Sundeep Kishan and Vijay Sethupathi.
