The second single from Dorothy's soundtrack, 'Muthumani', was released earlier, alongside a music video. While the track itself have garnered positive acclaimation, viewers also saw Ilaiyaraaja grooving to his track along with the film's lead actors, Sananth and Rishikanth.
Speaking about shooting the video, in an interview with CE, Sananth said, "We are blessed to be dancing with him and sharing screen space with him."
"There was a moment were Sananth executed a shot well, but I am not sure what got over me, shyness or something else, but I fumbled the shot. Raja sir immediately turned to me and jovially said, 'Won't you vibe to my song? I made this song for you.' I sheepishly had to reassure him that I would execute the shot well," said Rishikanth.
The pair shares that while working with such legends, one would often think if those legends would converse with them, but Ilaiyaraaja had taken a liking to them after watching the film.
Dorothy written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. Also starring Keerthy Suresh in the lead, the upcoming film is set to open in theatres on September 25.
