Actor Kamal Haasan met the key personnel behind the latest blockbuster Mandaadi, including its director Mathimaran Pugazhendhi as well as lead actors Soori and Suhas. On Wednesday, the film's producer Elred Kumar's RS Infotainment banner dropped a video where Kamal can be seen interacting with the cast and crew behind the film at what looks like a special screening location.
In the caption for the video, RS Infotainment wrote, "When cinema appreciates the craft, it looks like this. How do we even put a moment like this into words? The one and only Kamal Haasan Sir appreciating our Mandaadi is truly an unforgettable moment for all of us. Thank you, Sir. We learn from you, and we continue to learn from you. We consider this our greatest win."
Kamal also posed for pictures with director Mathimaran Pugazhendhi, Soori, and Suhas. Talking about his experience meeting the superstar, Suhas wrote, "Some moments leave you completely speechless. Standing next to the living legend, the encyclopedia of acting Kamal Haasan sir. A dream realized, an absolute honour, and a memory I’ll treasure forever."
On the other hand, Mathimaran Pugazhendhi shared, "With Kamal Haasan Sir, the senior student of cinema, and a constant inspiration to filmmakers like me. Thank you Sir for appreciating our work and sharing your thoughts on Mandaadi."
In the video, Soori can be seen falling on Kamal's feet for his blessings. The actor called his meeting with Kamal "one of the most unforgettable moments" in his life. The actor also shared, "Dr. Kamal Haasan sir, your unconditional love, powerful words and blessings made our Mandaadi journey even more special. Heartfelt thanks to Mahendran annae and Disney brother for making this beautiful moment possible."
He added that what Kamal said about the film has given him more confidence and acts as a blessing which will guide him throughout his life.
