On Sunday, Ajith RedAnt Racing secured a podium finish in the 24H Barcelona event, which is part of the 24H Creventic Series. The team is a collaboration between Ajith Kumar Racing and the Belgian outfit RedAnt Racing. Ajith's eponymous racing team has teamed up with other outfits, including RedAnt Racing, in order to participate in international racing events.
Ajith's publicist Suresh Chandra shared pictures of the actor-professional racer celebrating the podium finish with his RedAnt Racing teammates. In one of the photographs, Ajith can be seen posing for pictures with a national flag.
The social media team that manages communications between the actor/racer and his fans shared the news with the caption, "A proud moment for the nation! Making India proud on the global stage!"
Ajith Kumar Racing has secured multiple podium finishes in the 24H Creventic Series following their debut in the event last year, including in races in the Dubai Autodrome, Mugello Circuit in Italy, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, and Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain.
Beyond his racing endeavours, Ajith is expected to start filming for his next film, Daredevil, in November. Earlier this September, the makers of the film announced that it would go on floors on November 02, Monday.
The upcoming film is set to bring the actor back together with his Good Bad Ugly director Adhik Ravichandran. The film will be backed by Ajith's wife Shalini in her maiden production venture under the banner of Bravehearts Production. Its technical team includes composer Anirudh, cinematographer Abinandhan Ramanujam, editor Vijay Velukutty, stunt choreographer Supreme Sundar, and sound designer Suren.
Recently, Ajith also spoke about his plan to go back and resume his motorsport endeavours after completing the Daredevil shoot.
