The makers of Dhruv Vikram-starrer Jackie have dropped a glimpse from the film that gives a peek into Dhruv's character. The over four-minute glimpse introduces Dhruv's character as a respected stuntman who is performing a dangerous scene for the hero, after the latter stepped back citing safety issues. However, the stuntman seems to be in a lot of trouble even off camera.
Karan Arvind Kumar, who has worked in films like Karuppu and Sorgavaasal, is making his directorial debut with Jackie. The glimpse promises a mass commercial action entertainer. Dhruv, who is coming off of the hit with Mari Selvaraj's Bison Kaalamaadan, will look to continue his winning streak. So would the production house Mythri Movie Makers after delivering blockbusters with Dude, Good Bad Ugly (2025), and Modha Rathri (2026). Jackie also stars Sai Dheena, Arunachaleshwaran Pa and Prudhvi Raj.
On the technical front, the film has music director Santhosh Narayanan, cinematographer Viki, editor Jayasuriya S, and production designer GM Sekhar. Meanwhile, popular stunt director Vikram Mor is handling the action sequences in the upcoming film.
