The official trailer of the upcoming drama Dorothy, have been released by the makers. Karthik Subburaj has written and directed the film, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, and is set to open in theatres on September 25
The new trailer offers a deeper look at the violent world of its titular character Dorothy (Keerthy Suresh), whose friends Karthi (Rishikanth) and Subbu (Sananth) are involved in criminal activities. When conflict hits the trio, it is shown to impact them and the lives of people around them.
The cast of the film includes Ramachandran Durairaj, Muthukumar, Gajaraj, and Jeeva Subramanian, among others.
Ilaiyaraaja has composed music for Dorothy, which will be his 1540th film score. The crew of the film also includes inematographer S Thirunavukkarrasu, editor Ganesh Siva, production designer Kumar Gangappan, and stunt choreographer Dinesh Subbarayan.
Karthik Subbaraj is producing the Dorothy under his Dhammam Films banner. Guneet Monga and Aachin Jain are also producing under the Sikhya Entertainment banner, with Jyoti Deshpande producing under the Jio Studios banner.
