On Wednesday, the makers of Drones shared a new image for the upcoming film, calling it the "first-look poster". The makers have previously shared pictures from the film, but the new image is officially called the first look poster. Written and directed by R Raghav Mirdath, the film stars Siddhi Idnani, Dravid Selvam, Devadarshini, and Anjali Nair, among others.
Sharing the poster on social media, the makers, including director Raghav, wrote in the caption, "A whole new world of fun, adventure and imagination awaits." Several other film personalities also shared it, including director Arivazhagan of Kuttram 23 fame, shared the poster and their thoughts about the upcoming film.
Taking to X, Arivazhagan wrote that he recently caught a special show for the film and opined that it "excels in performance, science fiction , engaging fun element and good social thought in the end." The filmmaker added, "Now Happy to release the first look of Drones." He also congratulated the film's cast, including Siddhi Idnani, Devadarshini, and Anjali Nair, and its crew members.
The upcoming film is produced by GM Morgan through his eponymous banner, with Cinemawala Sathish serving as a creative producer. On the technical front, it has composer Hari SR, cinematographer Jayanth Sethu Mathavan, editor Sathish Suriya, production designer R Kishore, and action choreographer PC Stunts.
R Raghav Mirdath made his directorial debut with 2022's Kaalangalil Aval Vasantham, and the upcoming film marks his follow-up to last year's Bun Butter Jam. While Bun Butter Jam earned mixed to positive reviews from critics, it did not do all that well at the box office, reportedly grossing 2 crore from theatres, according to data from Sacnilk.
The makers of the upcoming film are yet to announce the release date for it, although it is expected to come out in theatres soon.
