The makers of Suriya's upcoming 47th film as a lead, tentatively titled Suriya 47, have announced that the music rights for the film has been bagged by Sony Music. The upcoming film will also star Nazriya Nazim and Naslen in the lead.
Sushin Shyam is composing music for the upcoming film, which is directed by Jithu Madhavan. The composer and director continue their collaboration after Romancham (2022) and Aavesham (2024), with the latter being well acclaimed for its music as well as its plot and performances.
Suriya is producing under his newly formed Zhagaram Studios banner alongside his 2D Entertainment banner, through which Jyothika also backs the film.
Jithu Madhavan also served as a writer behind the drama thriller, Balan: The Boy. Directed by Chidambaram, who has directed Manjummel Boys previously, the film opened in theatres on June 19.
Suriya was recently seen in Venky Atluri's Vishwanath and Sons, alongside Mamitha Baiju and Radikaa Sarathkumar. He will reunite with Jai Bhim-fame TJ Gnanavel for a new film.
