Mirnaa is one of the many cast members reprising her role from 2023’s Jailer in its recently released sequel. In addition to sharing screen space with Rajinikanth, Jailer 2 provided her with the unique opportunity of acting with Hrithik Roshan, someone whom she has admired for a long time. Sharing a behind-the-scenes still featuring her with the Dhoom 2 and Krrish star on Friday, the actor wrote, “A childhood crush, a hero I’ve always been in awe of, and now, the surreal feeling of sharing screen space with him!”
Notably, while Mirnaa revealed a combination sequence with Hrithik, the moment is not there in the theatrical cut of the film. Hrithik mainly makes a high impact cameo and performs some action sequences in the Jailer sequel and does not have much dialogue in it. Still, Mirnaa savours the collaboration with one of India's most popular actors.
Speaking further about it, she noted, “Working with Hrithik Roshan on Jailer 2 was truly special. And getting to know the person behind the superstar made it even more beautiful. So sweet, so humble, so down to earth. My admiration and respect for him have only multiplied! Some moments are just once-in-a-lifetime. This is one of them.”
Hrithik has largely kept silent on social media about his Jailer 2 cameo, even as his co-actors continue to relish working with him and his fans have been celebrating it. His involvement in the film is one of the worst-kept secrets of Tamil cinema, as fans figured it out during its production itself. The film has brought Hrithik back together with Rajinikanth for the first time after 1986’s Bhagwaan Dada, where he plays a teenager opposite the Superstar whom he still fondly calls ‘Rajini uncle'.
