Even as fans are recovering from actor Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 fever, they've already started anticipating the next big release of the year, Suriya's Scene. Scheduled for Deepavali on November 6, the film is helmed by Jithu Madhavan and also stars Nazriya and Naslen in prominent roles.
While fan theories on Suriya's character and the film's storyline have been making the rounds, it has been made amply clear that the actor plays a police officer in the film. However, from Jithu Madhavan's first two directorials, Romancham and Aavesham, it has been established that in his style of filmmaking, the protagonist is always portrayed uniquely. So the eagerness for the film is at an all-time high.
Now, as fans anticipate the film's trailer release, the makers have announced that a pre-release event will take place for the film in Dubai. The event is set to take place at the Silicon Central Mall in Dubai on October 25, a week before the film's release. It is expected that the film's audio and trailer will be launched during the event, but the makers are yet to confirm the same.
Scene also stars Anandraj, Lal, and Raj Priyan. Suriya's 47th film, it marks Jithu Madhavan and Sushin Shyam's debut in Tamil cinema. It brings the Romancham (2023) and Aavesham (2024) filmmaker back together with the music director. So far, the audience has been singing praises of Sushin's music in the film, as the makers have unveiled two singles, 'Aathi Iva Yarraa' and 'Aeroplane'.
Produced by Suriya and his wife Jyotika through their Zhagaram Studios and 2D Entertainment banners, the upcoming film's technical team also includes cinematographer Vineeth Augustian, editor Ajmal Sabu, production designer Ashwini Kale, art director A Rajesh, and stunt choreographer Chethan D’Souza. The film will open in theatres alongside Nayanthara's Mookuthi Amman 2 and Ranbir Kapoor-Sai Pallavi's Ramayana: Part 1.
